Nicholas (Nicky) Matthew Bok

Nicholas (Nicky) Matthew Bok, 44, of 3416 W. Washington Street, New Castle passed away the afternoon of January 30, 2026 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.

Nicholas was born June 20, 1981 in New Castle. He was the son of the late Dennis Bok. He preceded him in death on June 13, 2020. His mother Patricia L. Bok survives at home. Nicholas was of the Catholic faith and attended Holy Spirit Parish. He was a graduate of Union High School, class of 1999.  Mr. Bok worked for several years with Charles Zduniak helping clean offices and machinery. Nicholas was a big football and wrestling fan. He enjoyed watching both the Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys football teams. While watching the games he would keep stats of the game in his many notebooks. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends, especially his nephews.

In addition to his mother Patricia, Nicholas is survived by two brothers, William Albert Weaver, Paul Leroy Weaver, both of New Castle; and sister, Mercedes Maria Cragle of New Castle; aunt, Sandra Bok of Orlando, FL; and four nephews; Theo Weaver, Adam Lee Weaver, James Cragle and Lucas Cragle.

Mr. Bok was preceded in death by his grandparents; father, Dennis Bok; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 4 to 7 pm at the Noga Funeral Home Inc., 1142 Mill Street New Castle, PA 16101.

A Blessing Service and Rite of Committal will be held Friday, February 6, 2026 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home.  Deacon John Carran of Holy Spirit Parish will officiate. Entombment will take place at Castleview Mausoleum.
