Linda Jean (Wallace) Lunn

Linda Jean Lunn, 66 of 2218 Savannah Road, New Castle passed away the morning of February 19, 2026 at UPMC Jameson Hospital.

Linda was born January 3, 1960 in Amarillo, TX. She was the daughter of the late John Robert and Barbara Ellen (Weir) Wallace. Linda married Russell Jon Lunn on October 23, 1982; he survives at home. They were married for 44 years.  

Linda was a graduate of Shenango High School, class of 1978.  She retired after more than 30 years of service with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Caseworker. Linda enjoyed gardening and raising flowers, reading, vacationing, and jamming to music. She loved summer and spending time in the sun. Linda was an active, strong-willed, loving individual who was known for thoughtful and kindhearted nature. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially her granddaughter.

In addition to her husband Russell, Linda is survived by her daughter, Erika (Brandon) Skonieczny of New Castle; son, Patrick Jon Lunn of Pittsburgh, PA; sister, Susan (John) Johnston of Tucson, AZ; brother, Robert (Kelly) Wallace of Phoenix, AZ; and her granddaughter, Eleanor Jean Skonieczny.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026 from 4 to 6 pm at the Noga Funeral Home, Inc., 1142 Mill Street, New Castle, PA. 16101.

A Funeral Service will be held immediately following visitation in the funeral home. Rev. Frederick Gilbert of Independence Methodist Church will officiate.
